Glenn started Humless in 2010 after recognizing that most battery storage systems on the market were either unsafe, unreliable, or prohibitively expensive. With a background in electrical engineering and a hands-on approach to product development, he personally oversaw the first 1,000+ installations — learning from every deployment what works and what doesn't.
Glenn made the early bet on LiFePO4 chemistry in 2016, when most of the industry was still using NMC lithium-ion. That decision — backed by Glenn's direct testing data — gave Humless customers safer, longer-lasting systems years before competitors caught up.
